Mephadow - Servant of Evil Ch 3

Several months had past since he became a servant to his brother, and all the while Mephiles enjoyed serving under King Shadow. Sometimes Shadow would share stories or discuss ideas with him while he served him his food and tea. Now, he was ordered by his brother to visit their neighboring country. As he was walking, taking in the sight of the Kingdom, some of the important papers he was holding flew into the breeze. He tried chasing after it, and stopped when a beautiful ivory hedgehog, who was with a rather dashing young blue hedgehog, caught them and gave them to him

"are these yours?" the ivory boy asked as he handed them to him
    "uh.. yes, they are.. Thank you for catching them" he reached out his hand to grab the papers
    "No problem"

Mephiles just stared and the young ivory male. The male was smiling sweetly at him and his voice was so gentle. Mephiles felt something flutter in his heart.

The blue hedgehog offered his hand to him "My name is Sonic friend! You look really familiar, have we met?" he asked as the ebony male took his hand

"No sir, I have never been in this country before, so I can't say that we have met" The servant replied. Sonic must have been talking about his brother Shadow. The his gaze shifted back to the snow white male's golden orbs.

"My name is Silver, and you are?"
    "M-mephiles, sir" he could feel his heart beating madly like a horse gone wild at the sight of Silver's sweet smile.. unknowingly, his cheeks were turning to a slight shade of pink

Sonic wrapped his arm around Silver's shoulder then smiled "So Mephiles! Would you like to tour around the kingdom? You said so yourself that this is the first time you've been here" he asked Mephiles
    "Oh no need, I can always visit this kingdom next time, I was sent here by the king to do something. But thank you so much for the offer" the young servant politely declined.
    "I see, well, it was nice to meet you Mephiles! I hope we see each other soon"

Silver and Sonic waved their goodbyes to the young servant and left the plaza, hand in hand. Mephiles watched as the couple left, leaving him alone with his thoughts. Sighing, his hand ventured to his chest, and he felt his heart beating fast as he thought of that beautiful ivory boy. Silver; His name fits him so. He has the face of an angel and the voice akin to tinkling bells, and a pair of amber orbs that outshine any stars in the night sky. How he wished he could be with him, even for a little while.

'I am in love' Mephiles thought to himself. Shaking his head, he walked off; he still had orders from his king to do.
